Is there a way to test iTunes 6?
I was thinking of using a saftey clone to test iTunes 6, but after reading the following post “iTunes Library, playlists gone missing! ”, I’m not sure that is a good idea. If I read that post correctly, if I decide that I do not want to install iTunes 6 on my normal startup volume after testing it on the safety clone, I will not be able to see my iTunes library when I switch back to my normal startup volume. It appears that iTunes must upgrade the library in some way when you upgrade to a later version of the application. Is there a way around this?
