Are These Drives any Good for Mac??
Can someone please tell me if either of these external drives is any good. I saw them at Future Shop and Best Buy and they are half the price of other drives at a local mac store.
1. Seagate FreeAgent - GoFlexDesk (Mac OS) 1 TB USB 2.0 Plug and Play NTFS Driver for Mac 2. LaCie Hard Disk - Design by Neil Poulsan (Mac OS) 1 TB USB 2.0 480 mBits/Sec Oh, I almost forgot a most important question. How do I know if these drives need to be formatted before using them. They both have the mac logo on the box and they say they can be used with Mac OS. Does that mean I can just plug them in and drag files to them?
