Cloning a Time Machine Disk
Hi
I want to clone my time machine back up disk for extra redundancy. I tried setting this up and it seemed to be working but i soon realised that the two 1TB hard drives I am using had varying amounts of free space.... I.e. the Time Machine disk would have 20GB free, while the clone of the TM disk would have 30GB - where one would assume that using a Smart Update, the drives should be using pretty much the same amount of space. Is there a reason for this and is there a way to get identical drives using SD? Thanks. |
