Should I run Superduper from my administrator account or user account?
I have bought an external hard drive ready to clone my Macbook plus one other external drive using SuperDuper. Although I am the only user of this computer I created two accounts for myself, one as the administrator, the other my main user account without admin privileges.
Which of these accounts should I log into to backup from? I want to be able to clone the macbooks hard drive to reboot from if necessary. My user account is the one that I use daily with all my files and folders, this was the original account created when I first used the computer, but I removed the admin privileges and created a new admin account, which has no files in it, for secure best practice reasons. |
