smart update / leopard
Does Smart Update work with 10.5.1? I know I can't make a bootable but I thought I could backup my files.
I created a new partition on an external LaCie HD. Manually ran a copy. That took a long time. Then I scheduled a copy. No sparse images. Just a straight copy to the FW external LaCie HD. Under Options, I'm using the Smart Update selection. What I'm finding is that that it takes just as long. It seems to be copying everything again.
