scheduled clone after automatic startup
I wish to use the schedule feature to backup after my MBP boots from a scheduled startup (in the middle of the night). Does a user need to be logged in for the scheduled backup to run? There are four users available in the list at startup, but none will be logged in when the system boots up.

Yes: see the User's Guide section on Scheduling for a discussion of the various requirements.
