Probably a dumb question...
I know it will be in the forum somewhere I just can't find it (probably not using the right key words), if someone will just link it to me that would be awesome!
OK I am upgrading my MBP hardrive from 150 to 500GB. I will be using an external WD 1TB hard drive to store the disk image using SuperDuper! to make the transfer. Question is once I have the image on the WD drive how do I get that onto the new 500GB in a bootable form where I am running like I was before? Just a bit confused and want to make sure I am ready before I start doing it. Last edited by ospreyguy; 04-15-2009 at 07:38 AM. |

I think you'll find the answer in the User's Guide - "Recovering from a Disaster". It explains how to restore from an image using your OSX DVD.
