SD won't recognize re-named FW drive
Hi,
This isn't a big issue, since when I hit the "cancel" button everything else (like all the custom scripts I made) seems to work, but SD isn't recognizing a new external FW drive I bought to replace an old smaller one. I gave the new drive the same exact name as the old one, and (of course) changed the old drive's name - but did not reformat it. If I launch SD without the old original drive booted, it will tell me that my external drive is not connected or not turned on - even though it is booted and named exactly as the old one used to be which is referenced in all the scripts. Is there a reason for this behaviour and a simple way to correct it? Thanks, N |
