Kernel Panic follow-up
Greetings. I came across a thread (via google) by Luhmann, stating that SuperDuper! was causing a Kernel panic. I'm having similar issues although my backups kernel when superduper is only partway through.
In the post, dnanian, posted this: "It could definitely be some kind of Firewire related bug. Let's do this: generate a System Profiler report with the drive attached. Save it (with File | Save) to the default (XML) format, and send it to support at shirt-pocket dot com (don't attach it here), along with the panic log. I'll take a look and reply, and we can post a summary up here to not leave the thread hanging. Sound reasonable?" Unfortunately, the results were never posted. Was anything ever determined? I too suspect firewire and not superduper, but don't know where to begin. |
