superDuper copy doesn't start when Require Password

Normally I don't set my Mac (details below) to require a password when being awakened, but for the last few days I have enabled that feature (children visiting) and SD scheduled copies have been failing. When I awaken the machine in the morning, the main SD window is in front, the Scheduled Copies one is not open, and the copy scheduled to run at night hasn't run. Energy Saver is set to wake up 1 minute before the scheduled copy. The problem seems to be associated with the "require password immediately" setting in Security and Privacy >> General.

OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra, MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), SD 3.2.4

10.13.x typically won't mount volumes when the screen is locked. It's quite likely that's what's going on...and there's nothing we can do about it, unfortunately. They resolved the issue in 10.14.

Thanks, Dave! Since I've heard that Mojave is somewhat buggy, and I very rarely use the require-password feature, I'll just live with the minor inconvenience until Mojave gets better. Except of course maybe "gets better" will include re-introducing the same problem ;-) .

I'm not sure Mojave is going to get a lot "better" than it is right now, since we're coming up fast on WWDC, and that's going to introduce 10.15...
