Wow.
It looks like SuperDuper! 2.1 has won another Macworld Eddy! Back-to-back awards for SuperDuper! in 2005 and 2006, and one for netTunes in 2004—w00t!
Thanks, Macworld—and thanks to all the users, too!
The software business is a strange one, because the products you make eventually just… vanish. The OS goes away, or the market moves on, and soon there’s nothing left to show when someone asks what you do, or what you did.
Getting these three Eddy awards—one for netTunes and two for SuperDuper!—has been really gratifying, both because it’s an acknowledgment of good work, and because it’s more of a permanent thing—a physical record of what I was doing for all those years.
Plus, the trophy doubles as a weapon in an emergency. Man, these things are heavy!

Congratulations! Very well deserved in my opinion.
SuperDuper! has been a real life-saver for me this year when the logic board on my G5 slowly gave up the ghost. I was able to put my old QuickSilver G4 back into action booted from an external clone of my G5’s HD whilst AppleCare sorted out the G5.
It meant that I was able to still have all my familiar applications and all-important data available to me, albeit running a bit slower, within a few minutes of noticing that the G5 wasn’t firing on all cyltinders.
I can’t recommend SuperDuper! enough. Whether it’s providing a safety net for a single Mac, or in one of my client’s cases, Mac OS X Server providing file and printer sharing for a network of Macs, SuperDuper! gives real peace of mind.

Congratulations! You now officially have enough little brass statues that you can put one in the bathroom, and one in the garage, and one in the living room. Just like Tom Hanks and his Oscars…
...and yes, the awards are very handy for home defense.

Hi Dave,
I’m a new mac convert, and found your website recently. It’s great to see you receive this recognition for such an excellent product.
I started reading your discussion board regularly, and couldn’t believe what outstanding support you provide your customers. That prompted me to purchase SuperDuper!, no questions asked, and I do believe it’s the best mac utility software I have used to date. Simple and straightforward for bootable backups, and with advanced features for power users too. What more could you ask for.
Congratulations to you and Bruce for a great job and continued success in the New Year.

Congratulations! Well deserved. SD is a fantastic product which gets used 3 times a day in my home. It backs up my wife’s laptop, my G5’s main drive, and an external archive drive. Works brilliantly.
