Yes I am currently running my mac from my external backup.
Ok, if I can't smart update only the home folder, can I, from step 4, start from restored internal, replace the home folder on the backup drive by the recovered home folder, then step 5, boot from updated backup drive, and do a smart update of internal drive? thanks Last edited by AdP; 08-20-2009 at 11:15 AM.
